How the installation works
1. Message us on WhatsApp with your postcode and, ideally, a photo of the cupboard under your sink. We check it fits: about 45 × 45 × 45 cm free, an earthed 230 V socket, the cold-water valve and the sink drain.
2. We book a visit, usually within 1–5 days. It takes about two hours and needs no building work: a clamp goes on the drain pipe, and the tap goes in a 1.3 cm hole in the worktop, or on a 3-way tap (€79.90) that replaces yours if you would rather not drill.
3. Before we leave we measure your water's TDS before and after the system and show you both numbers. Then you just drink the water.
The water filtration system we install
A tankless reverse osmosis system with 7 filtration stages in 3 cartridges and remineralisation with calcium, magnesium and potassium. It fills a 330 ml glass in about 10 seconds and sends one part to drain for every two it filters, about 6 times less waste than a conventional 1:3 system.
In the SGS report NBF25-0016876-01, measured with a new membrane; performance drops as filters age, it reduced lead by 99.8%, arsenic by 99.9%, PFOS by 99.6%, chlorine by 99.5% and total dissolved solids by 94–95%. Full specs are on the Oasly Home page.
