Yes. Drinking water in Spain must meet Royal Decree 3/2023, and the latest SINAC bulletin for every Barcelona supply zone says the water is fit for consumption. Read more in can you drink tap water in Barcelona.
What newcomers notice is the taste. Mains water is disinfected so it stays safe all the way to your tap, and some people taste that chlorine. Most of the city also has hard water: Zone D, which supplies 72% of Barcelona, measured 32.9 °f in its latest sample (hardness by zone). That is why so many people here end up buying bottled water.
Water delivery means 20-litre bottles to carry, store and swap, a dispenser in the kitchen, and running out at the wrong moment. A filter at the tap gives you unlimited water with nothing to carry. We compare both honestly, including when delivery is the better choice, in water delivery vs. a tap filter.

Most expats rent, so the system is built for that. The standard tap needs a 1.3 cm hole in the worktop; when you move out, we cover it neatly. If you would rather not drill at all, we replace your existing tap with a 3-way tap (€79.90, yours to keep) that gives normal and filtered water from one spout. Check your rental contract if you are unsure what changes it allows.
If you move to a new flat within our area, we uninstall and reinstall the system for free.
Message us on WhatsApp in English with your postcode and a photo of the cupboard under your sink. We confirm it fits, book a visit (usually within 1–5 days) and install it in about two hours. We measure your water before and after and show you the numbers.
€24.90/month or €249/year in Barcelona city; €27.90/month or €279/year in Badalona, L'Hospitalet, Sant Cugat and Esplugues. Installation, filter changes and maintenance included. No deposit, no upfront cost, no minimum term: two months' written notice to cancel.

Yes. It meets Spain's drinking water regulations (Royal Decree 3/2023), and SINAC lists every Barcelona supply zone as fit for consumption. Many people filter it for taste, not safety.
Mains water is disinfected so it arrives at your tap in good condition. Some people taste that disinfection, especially if they are used to bottled water. Our system reduces chlorine by 99.5% (SGS test, new membrane).
We leave the kitchen as we found it: a neat cover over the tap hole when you leave, or a 3-way tap with no drilling at all. Check your rental contract if you are unsure what it allows.
