Aquaservice doesn't publish prices for homes: what you pay depends on how many bottles you use, and the figure comes by phone or after a sales visit (Aquaservice price page). Here is how to work out your real monthly cost, and how that compares with Oasly's flat fee.

Left: a dispenser with 20-litre bottles, the home-delivery model. Right: the Oasly unit under the sink.
Both give you drinking water at home, but they are priced differently. Aquaservice quotes per household based on consumption; Oasly charges a flat, published fee. This table compares the models, not invented prices.
No home prices on its website; you call 900 855 400 or wait for a quote
€24.90 every 4 weeks or €249/year in Barcelona city; €27.90 or €279/year in Badalona, L'Hospitalet, Sant Cugat and Esplugues
Bottles per month × price per bottle. Aquaservice says the more you use, the better the price
A flat fee, however much you drink
OCU says the real cost rises once sterilisation, electricity and, with some companies, a dispenser fee are added. Aquaservice says its dispenser is lent at no cost and delivery is free
None: installation, filters, maintenance and the yearly filter change are included
Purified by reverse osmosis, ozone-treated and sold in 20-litre bottles; OCU notes it is labelled as a "bebida refrescante" (soft drink)
Your own tap water, filtered by reverse osmosis under the sink and remineralised with calcium, magnesium and potassium
A dispenser, plus room for full and empty bottles
Inside the sink cabinet. Nothing on the floor
The dispenser keeps a cooling and a heating element running; OCU measured it using about twice as much electricity as a fridge (OCU, June 2025)
About 85 W, and only while producing water
Yes, if the bottles run out before the next delivery (every 4 weeks, according to OCU)
No. It comes from your tap whenever you need it
OCU could not read the contract before signing; a sales visit was required. Ask about minimum term and notice period
No minimum term; two months' written notice
Free delivery and a dispenser on loan, according to Aquaservice; yearly ozone sterilisation of the dispenser, according to OCU. Details depend on your plan
The unit, installation, filters, maintenance, the yearly filter change, and a TDS reading before and after installation
How to work out your monthly cost with Aquaservice: (bottles per month × price per bottle) + any dispenser or sterilisation fee + the dispenser's electricity. Example with your own figures: if you are quoted P euros per bottle and use 4 bottles a month (80 litres, the family of four in OCU's test), you pay 4 × P plus extras. Set that against Oasly's €24.90. Aquaservice information from aquaservice.com, checked October 2026.
Aquaservice doesn't publish a home tariff. Its price page says the price depends on consumption (the more you use, the better the price) and that you call 900 855 400 to find out (checked October 2026). Your monthly cost is bottles per month × price per bottle, plus any extras that apply to you. Ask for the price per bottle in writing before you sign.
It depends on how many bottles you get through. OCU's test case was a family of four drinking 80 litres a month, which is four 20-litre bottles. On that consumption your cost is 4 × the price per bottle you are quoted, plus sterilisation or a dispenser fee if charged, plus the dispenser's electricity. If your family drinks more, multiply by your real number of bottles.
Its price page (aquaservice.com/aquaservice-precios) shows no home prices. It says the dispenser is lent at no cost, delivery is free, the plan can be changed and the price depends on consumption. For the exact figure you have to call or have a sales visit. OCU reported that it could not read the contract before signing without that visit.
Aquaservice says it costs "a little over 1 euro a day". OCU says the real cost is somewhat higher once you add the dispenser's sterilisation, its electricity and, with some companies, a dispenser fee. Ask what is charged separately and how often.
OCU measured the dispenser using about twice as much electricity as a fridge, because it keeps a cooling and a heating element switched on. To see what that means for your bill, check the power rating on the unit and your price per kWh. The Oasly unit uses about 85 W, and only while it is producing water.
Neither publishes a fixed home price online (Aquaservice checked October 2026, Culligan checked September 2026). Ask both for the price, any extras and the contract terms in writing, and compare the yearly total.
Culligan doesn't publish a fixed home price on culligan.es (checked September 2026). Ask for a written quote with every fee included and compare the yearly total.
Tap water is the cheapest: OCU concludes it is the best option where its quality is adequate, and that Aquaservice works out more expensive than tap water. If you want filtered water, Oasly costs €24.90 every 4 weeks (about €0.88 a day) with no limit on how much you drink. Whether that is cheaper than your bottles depends on your quote, so compare the yearly totals.
According to OCU, it is labelled as a "bebida refrescante": water purified by reverse osmosis and treated with ozone, with low mineralisation and no disinfectant. OCU also found a high, non-pathogenic microbial load, as with other bottled water that is stored. Oasly filters your tap water at the moment you use it and remineralises it.
Book Oasly first. Installation is usually within 3–7 days. Once the filter is running, cancel Aquaservice, so you are never without water. Check your contract for the notice period and how the dispenser is returned.
If you can't drill a hole for a second tap and a 3-way faucet isn't an option; if there is no cold-water feed and drain under your sink; if you want hot water at 90 °C from the dispenser (OCU); or if you live outside Barcelona city, Badalona, L'Hospitalet, Sant Cugat and Esplugues, where we don't install.
To set against your bottle quote: Oasly's published prices for Barcelona city, everything included. No minimum term.
Unit, installation, maintenance and yearly filter swap included
The same service in one payment; 13 four-weekly payments add up to €323.70.
€629 machine only, €699 installed in Barcelona
Badalona, L'Hospitalet, Sant Cugat and Esplugues: €27.90 / 4 weeks or €279/year.
